DigiTech JamMan Express XT (Mine has the "Jam Sync" jack, earliest versions don't.)

DigiTech XMS Main Squeeze Compressor/Sustainer

  • Positive: Decent compressor, featuring dbx compression, in a tough enclosure.
  • Negative: Perhaps a bit strong for guitar I thought it was better for bass.

DOD 200 Regulated Power Supply (Not sure if there's different versions, mine is the same as the one pictured.)

  • 9
  • Positive: The correct voltage for older DOD pedals.
  • Negative: Only good for old DOD, MXR, and a few other pedals.

DOD 525-A Compressor Limiter

  • Positive: Great compressor, 18-20 volts really makes a difference. I really like it with acoustic/electric instruments, smooths things out nicely.
  • Negative: The 1/4" power supply jack.

DOD FX25 Envelope Filter (Mine is from the late 80's)

  • Positive: A decent sounding envelope filter, especially the earlier ones.
  • Negative: Perhaps a little wimpy, especially the more recent ones. it's no Mutron.

DOD FX35 Octoplus (mine is from the late 80's, same as one pictured)

  • Positive: I've been using this pedal for 20+ years, only does sub-octave, but does it well.
  • Negative: People complain about the battery cover, I still have mine.

DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz (Mine is from the late 80's, same as one pictured)

  • Positive: A very good fuzz pedal, sounds similar to a Tone Bender.

DOD FX55B Supra Distortion (Mine is from the late 80's, similar to one pictured)

  • Positive: Warm analog distortion, that does what it should. I've found this pedal sounds best with an original 10 volt power supply..
  • Negative: People complain about the battery cover, I still have mine.

DOD FX70 Stereo Flanger (Mine is from early 80s, same as one pictured.)

  • Positive: I'm not a good judge, I don't like most flangers.
  • Negative: People complain about the battery cover, I still have mine.

Electro-Harmonix 44 Magnum Power Amp

  • Positive: Great device, I use it for acoustic/electric guitar. Mine is paired with a Eminence Lil' Buddy 10" speaker in a 1 x 10" cab.
  • Negative: It could be delicate, time will tell. I haven't owned mine for very long.

Electro-Harmonix Nano LPB-1 Linear Power Booster (Mine is a recent one, same as one in picture.)

Hotone Audio Skyline series Golden Touch - Overdrive

  • Positive: Warm analog overdrive in a tough little enclosure. I was kind of impressed by this little pedal, really has a nice tone..

Jim Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95 Wah Wah (Mine is from early 80s with "stack-o-dimes" inductor.)

  • Positive: Great Wah, totally superior to the current version.
  • Negative: Mine is modded true-bypass, which some people prefer.

Jim Dunlop Mr. Cry Baby EW-95V Super Volume Wah (Mine is a rare early version with no buttons or knobs on the side.)

  • Positive: A Wah Wah and volume all in one, earliest versions have "stack o dimes" inductor, and 3.5mm AC jack.
  • Negative: It doesn't sound as good as two separate pedals, the Wah is good, but volume is so-so.

MXR M-201 Phaser

  • 7
  • Positive: Warm analog phaser with lots of usable sounds. Not as crazy as some other phasers, also pretty quiet.
  • Negative: Somewhat limited, doesn't go as far as some other phasers. Also enclosure is somewhat large and heavy.

MXR M-206 Time Delay

  • Positive: Warm analog delay, in a very tough enclosure, with a unique switching system.
  • Negative: Possibly the size, they are kind of big.

Rocktron Hush The Pedal

  • Positive: Great pedal, cleans up the hiss, and in a tough aluminum enclosure.

Sovtek/Electro-Harmonix Small Stone

  • Positive: In my opinion, one of the best Phasers released in the 1990s.
  • Negative: These can be a little noisy, I find they're less noisy in the effect loop of an amplifier.

Tone City TC-T14 Tremble - Tremolo

  • 7
  • Positive: A cool little tremolo pedal, with a pretty wide range of adjustment. It's small size makes it very pedal board friendly.
  • Negative: Not as sweet sounding as some other tremolo pedals, but still better than most.
